The Story Behind the Lens
I started Luma Shots in 2016 after photographing my first wedding for a close friend in South Austin — a small backyard ceremony with string lights and a live band that played until midnight. That night, I realized that photography wasn't just about capturing images. It was about preserving the feeling of a room, a glance, a laugh that was never meant to be repeated.
Since then, I've grown Luma Shots into a full-time creative studio serving couples, families, and businesses across the Austin metro and throughout Texas. I shoot over 60 sessions a year — from intimate elopements on the Barton Creek Greenbelt to large-scale corporate events at the Austin Convention Center. Every client gets the same level of attention and care.
My mission is simple: deliver images so good they stop your scroll and make you feel something. I believe great photography doesn't need to be complicated — it needs to be honest, well-lit, and beautifully timed. I work to understand your vision before we ever pick up a camera, so that on shoot day, everything just flows.
